His choice of alaaps is well out of the textbook because they are born out of the sheer weight of the spatial gravity. He uses taan as refreshers & appetizers. His bol-alaaps are only to reassure the audience of their body weight. As a musician he has a strong analytical sense that helps him decode the composition better. His musical understanding is that of integration of rationality & super-rationality, tangibility & intangibility. He firmly believes that the soul of music is the composition & voice is its language. Hence he treats composition as an art in the front end & science in the back end. Therefore his musical pursuits, as also his teachings, have a natural content of researching. He is an extempore speech maker & creates is own versus blessed with musical fitness as regards the wazan & matras. He has a voice tone of extreme innocence thus magnifying his own pursuit & thankfulness to the almighty that there indeed exists a source called direct knowledge.
